What are your favorite games of the series in order from favorite to least favorite? Mine would have to be:

DKC3 > DKC2 > DKC > DK64

I really enjoyed DKC3's simplicity and you can't get sick of the gameplay because you have side quests to complete as well. It wasn't so hard that you wanted to snap your remote in half. DKC2 was great too, but some of the levels were made to drive people nuts. I really liked Krem Quay and Gloomy Gulch. DKC, was a great game, but it isn't as great as the sequels, the levels were blan sometimes, and didn't give you a great feeling when you complete the game over 100% like the others did.

Edit: DK64 wasn't that much of a fun game for me. I didn't enjoy it at all. The selection of Kongs was great but the game pretty much stunk.

DKC2 > DKC > DKJC > DKC3 > DK 64

Donkey Kong Country Dos is great in every way, with fantastic music and interesting environments. The first Donkey Kong Country felt like it had the most fluid gameplay of the trilogy. I really like Paon's Donkey Kong Jungle Climber, which brings back nostalgia with its environments and some of the enemies and objects that returned. Donkey Kong Country 3 is nice, but it doesn't really feel like the previous two games in the series. Donkey Kong 64 is good, but I haven't played half of it all to have a solid opinion.

Those are my favorite Donkey Kong games in order.

I pretty much love every game... DKC3 being my favorite side-scroller, and I actually reeeeally liked DK64. It took up a large portion of my childhood.

DKC2 is awesome, my favorite game of all time : 10/10
DKC3 is awesome, my 2nd favorite game of all time : 10/10
DKC is great, my 3rd favorite game of all time : 9.5/10
DK64 is good, but not the best : 8/10
