Hardly no one cares for Kiddy, he is very underrated, but I think he is a good character, come on, he can break through weak board, he can be used as a steel keg (Well kinda.), he can do a lot of cool things, come on, he ain't that bad.

You don't have to tell me, I already agree! Part of the reason people hate Kiddy, is because they were expecting DK, and Kiddy looked to them like some sort of replacement. But to me, Kiddy is awesome. Not only is he small and strong, but he can also be a steel keg, break boards, BOUNCE ON WATER. Both Kiddy and Cream are underrated but great characters.

When is Kiddy Kong going to get more respect?

Well, they need to have major roles in future games and both Cream and Kiddy need to do awesome things in those games. That usually gets fans to love characters.

I agree wholeheartedly! I didn't have a problem with DK not being in DKC3, but to be fair I do like Diddy a lot better. I was annoyed he wasn't in it :c

Kiddy's more like a toddler, actually. I like him, though. His mannerisms and sounds make me laugh. Especially when he's defeated by an enemy. 'AAAAAAAAGH!!1'

I believe Cream is from Sonic.

Cream is a Sonic character, she used to be one of my favorite character, I was a fan from ages 10-14, but not anymore, I guess she's okay.

Now our friend Kiddy here has a point. I think Kiddy's a cute monkey :3. It's so unfair that these are his only appearances:

*Donkey Kong Country 3 (GBA) - November 2005

Back in my day you 'ol whippersnapper DK, we used to treat all characters with respect, even if they were enemies!

Please let Kiddy be back in DKC Tropical Freeze! I really like him. He's the cutest monkey around. Even Dixie's sad about Kiddy's absence .

I'm a male, but just with an avatar and username based on Gaz from Invader ZIM. Have you also noticed that Kiddy was underrated in the storyline for Donkey Kong Land III? Donkey and Diddy got all the fame at the start.

Not really. You'd just have the two strongest players together. They'd probably move slow when they tag-team, (Or maybe not, since they're both strong Kongs?) cause earthquakes when thrown, and uncover secrets in the ground.

Slight bump, I noticed that Rare's GBA team didn't bother to make sprites for Kiddy in the Swanky's Dash mode. They instead made Swanky tell Kiddy, "You're too young for this game!" Saying that means he might as well be too young to battle giant spiders (Arich), explore through buzzsaw tree areas (Ripsaw Rage), and defeat Baron K. Roolenstein twice and save Northern Kremisphere. Yet he's not allowed to do a simple minigame? That makes no logical sense whatsoever.

I really beg for Kiddy's fame to rise again... Notice how Swanky calls Kiddy a "minor" in the image attachment.

I thought the same thing, Gaz. Perhaps Kiddy can't play the minigame because of gambling issues? Or maybe Dixie has to take drugs or drink alcohol, which would be the reason everything spins around?

Um, hello. This is Rareware we're talking about.

Maybe it's like how Nintendo advises that 3D mode on the 3DS isn't used by children 6 and below.
Swanky's Dash IS a virtual reality game after all. Maybe Swanky is looking out for Kiddy and telling him not to play so that it doesn't damage his eyes/brain or something.
(It's probably just Rare being lazy though.)

Hopefully Retro Studios will not ignore Kiddy, unlike Nintendo and Paon did.

But yeah, I REALLY hope Kiddy's that 4th character in DKC:TF.

I still think he's in with a chance for Tropical Freeze's sequel, but I won't hold my breath*.

Well, he did appear in Donkey Konga 2. But that was only an image of him...

Kiddy is my favorite too, best design...he is a monkey baby, and I like in the beginning of the game how Funky tell Dixie she will have to take care of her "awesome cousin" lol
