Rom Hack #1
Barrel DK letters transformed into an enemy

How to:
With a hex editor (I use WinHex) open the rom and go to offset 3F1651.
Change the hex 01 by 03.
Save and run the game, now the letters DK barrel will be as enemies.

Change the hex 01 by 02

Save and run the game, now your character will automatically run very fast!

When I launched a kong from a timed barrel to a bouncy wheel it had a similar effect to your Rom Hack #2 :Very fast speed automatically in any stage. So I quickly implemented that glitch to the level. However, as long as a kong faces left the constant screen push not occur and quickly resumes when facing right. I am not sure if your code bypasses that, because I am too lazy to use a hex editor.

Interesting, did not know it.
The most interesting is that the letters DK in barrel DK is an active object's own independent from DK barrel and it does not appear in editor DKC2.

Change the hex 01 by 03.
Save and run the game, now you will swim in any stage.

With a hex editor open the rom and go to offset 3397CF.
Change the hex 02 by:

00 = Buggy Dixie (this is was shown on video)
0B = Krow head
10 = Dixie whit rambi?
13 = Buggy Zinger

I have not tested other values (above these).
