Those glitches are as incomprehensible as the warps seen in Tompa's DKC TAS
Interesting how they triggered the 2 player Adventure Mode without using the cheat code!
A completed save file is needed to unlock all tracks in time trial and the additional drivers, so it technically looks like new game+

Interesting that it requires the 'use' of a complete game... I wonder if such a requirement would make it a whole different category of run? Glitches/speedruns that need specific data to be pre-existing probably don't belong in the same category as fresh-cartridge runs.

Still, this is highly fascinating stuff, and I'm very impressed that someone managed to work it out!

This is the only Nintendo 64 game cartridge I have left compared to what I've sold or given away.

I was so impressed with how much love I gathered from this game instead of Mario Kart, but it's cool that that you need a completed save for this trick.
