Woo, star icon.


Anyhow, I am in dire need of of tilesets from the original DKC trilogy. Preferably 32x32 in an easy to understand layout. The only one I could find online was the brambles tileset, and thats 1 of about 37 (if memory serves me correct (excluding different colour palates)).
If anyone could find me any I would be extremely happy and very appreciative
If not, well then. I guess I won't have tilesets :'(

If you have a DKC and DKC2 ROM handy (must be US version 1.0) try downloading DKCRE v0.0.5.0 and use it to extract all tilesets (it does each pallete too).

As for DKC3, there is no extraction tool available.

Also, you aren't going to find any "easy layouts" of the tiles, unless you copy parts of the original levels. For doing that, you need to use DKCRE v0.0.5.0 to extract the level terrains (DKCRE v0.0.6.0 does not support DKC2 yet due to a code rework that made working with DKC2 temporarily impractical).

I tried that, it's pretty hard to understand. It's going to take me hours to piece it all together -.-
Oh and keep up the work on the DKCLB, I can't wait to see it when it's done
